Microsite Design and Development
Haiku Contest for #LetsTalkBums Campaign and Dad 2.0 Summit
This microsite promotes Cottonelle's #LetsTalkBums campaign and features a haiku writing contest in conjuction with the Dad 2.0 Summit. At its most simple, a haiku is a 17-syllable poem separated into three lines; the first and third lines comprise five syllables each, and the second has seven.
Various social media APIs and widgets (Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest) are used to pull content into the site while allowing users to submit their entries directly to Twitter. An administration dashboard lets site managers curate and approve entries before they appear on the site, and to select weekly and grand prize winners.
